Release of Liability,
Hold Harmless Agreement,
with Acknowledgment and Acceptance
of Dangers, Risks and Hazards
By booking this property I am assuming sole responsibility on behalf of myself and “ALL” my personal guests, that I may, might or will bring hunting, lodging, fishing, swimming, visiting. or any other activity on The Dos Equis Ranch situated in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma., By booking this property, I hereby release and forever discharge Dos Equis Ranch and Ronnie L Spradling, (hereinafter collectively referred to as the (“Ranch”) (whether or not the same are affiliated
companies), and their landowner/ranch manager, agents, servants, directors and/or officers and family from any and all damage(s), loss(es), claim(s) and cause(s) of action whatsoever, arising
out of or in any way connected with my participating in any hunting, fishing, hiking, riding, swimming, sightseeing, or any other activity or event occurring (hereinafter collectively referred to as the (“event”) that may from time to time be conducted on the Ranch. I further understand
and acknowledge that the Ranch assumes no responsibility for any act and/or omission which may cause any damage to any person, including me, or an animal resulting from or in any way connected with the event, including traveling to or from, or while participating in any such
aforementioned event. This document is sufficient warning that dangerous conditions, risks, and hazards do exist. My presence and activities on the Ranch expose both me and my property to
dangerous conditions, risks and hazards, including, but not limited to; poisonous snakes, insects, spiders; erosion, general condition of the land, both on and off roadways, hunting/hiking trails, that can create rough, hazardous and dangerous driving and walking conditions; animals both wild and domestic that may be diseased and/or potentially dangerous; deep water; a person with firearms both on or off the Ranch; and the use of vehicles or recreational vehicles, including boats, trail bikes, and ATV/UTV’s. I hereby state that I expressly assume all such dangers, risks and hazards for my guests and myself.
In consideration for the right to enter the Ranch, I hereby release and agree to protect, indemnify, and hold harmless the Ranch and his/her respective agents, employees and assignee(s) from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action and damages, by or on behalf of me, including attorneys’ fees, resulting from any accident, incident or occurrence arising out of and/or incidental to or in any way to all improvement thereon, whether or not caused by the Ranch’s
negligence or gross negligence. This release applies during the time that I am on the leased premises. I hereby further covenant and agree that I, my heirs, successors and assignee(s) will not make any claim or institute any suit or action at law or in equity against the Ranch, owner, or his/her respective heirs, agents, representatives, employees, successors or assignee(s) by reason of conditions of the Ranch or activities occurring thereon. I further agree that, in the event that any dispute procedure is filed or initiated in order to enforce or interpret this Agreement, by me or my guests against the Ranch, venue shall lie in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, and I expressly waive any rights, which I or we might have for venue to lie elsewhere, including our home county and state of residency. As used in this release, the term I, my, person and myself, include dogs, minors, dependents and personal guest(s), in my care, while on the Ranch. I will have all minors, and dependents that I am responsible for with me at all times.
Ranch Rules
- All horses entering ranch must have a current ‘Coggin’s Test’
- Dogs are permitted with pet fee of $25.00.
- Alcohol is permitted with discretion. Public intoxication is prohibited.
- No hunting or firearms are permitted at this time. Note: A firing range is under consideration.
- This is a working ranch. Please leave gates as you find them; ie. open or closed.
- Please don’t embarrass yourself or us; don’t litter. You must cleanup after your horses in the stable area.
- Smoking is absolutely prohibited in the cabin! A butt bucket is provided outside.
- Please be prudent and courteous with the outside music volume.
- A liability waiver must be signed when you enter the ranch.
- Fishing is permitted in designated ponds. Bass or “catch and release”. Crappie, catfish, and perch may be kept if prepared on site. Jugs and trot lines are not allowed. There is a deep fryer on site. Bring your own oil and butane bottle.
- Unsupervised swimming is permitted in designated ponds only. Enter at your own risk. Children must wear life jackets and have adult supervision when near the water.
- Horseback, bicycles, 4 wheelers, and hiking are the approved means of transportation on the ranch. Other vehicles may be allowed weather permitting.

Reservations and Rates
- A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to make advance reservations.
- Cancellations made two weeks or more prior to arrival can be rebooked at a mutually agreeable later date.
- Check in is from 2pm to 6pm. Check out is by 11am. If you need times other than these, please let us know in advance.
- The pull thru site is $45 per night.
- Please note: there are NO “Booking Fees” when you book directly thru this site! To book directly, click “Book Now” button below.
- Cabin rates are for up to 4 people. $25 for each additional person, up to 2.
- Covered stalls, when available, or $12 per night. Lake Cabin Rates include the use of up to 4 covered stalls.
- Weekday (2 day minimum) = $195 for Lake Cabin and $170 for Redwood Cabin
- Weekend (2 day minimum) = $220 for Lake Cabin and $195 for Redwood Cabin
- Weekly = $1226 for Lake Cabin and $1075 for Redwood Cabin
